Colleges require a minimum amount of academic units in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and possibly World Language. Minimum requirements may not be enough for admission however, so be sure to check the college's website to learn more about their freshman admission recommendations/expectations.
English: 4 years
Math: 3 years (4 recommended) Algebra 1, Geometry, and higher.
Social Studies: 3 years
Science: 3 years (4 recommended)
World Language: Varies by college (some schools may require a minimum of at least 2 years of the same language. For competitive schools, applicants may have 3-4 years).
