Monday, November 18, 2024- Week 1

Congratulations to all of the students who competed at a practice Mathcounts competition on Saturday at USM. Shout out Junhao, Ayan and Kenny who took second place overall in the team competition. And congratulations to Junhao who took second overall in the individual competition. So proud of all of you!

On Tuesday men’s choir will be in Mrs. Hammond’s room during student success time for homeroom. On Tuesday, all choir members will be walking over to the high school for rehearsal during their first two specials. There will be no men’s choir on Wednesday.

Any student grade 6-8 that is interested in wrestling this winter at the Middle School should attend a preseason meeting after school this Wednesday in the small gym. Information about the season will be available. Please see Mr. Danaher if you cannot attend the meeting.

Student Council's annual Toy and Clothing Drive for the Milwaukee House of Peace is on now! Donate new toys, clothing, and winter hats, mittens, gloves, or money to help families in need during the holidays. Baby clothes are especially in need this year. Donation boxes are in the lobby. The Toy & Clothing Drive ends on Friday, December 13. Student Council thanks you in advance for your generosity!

Tuesday, November 19, 2024- Week 1

TODAY men’s choir will meet in Mrs. Hammond’s room during student success time during homeroom.

TODAY all choir members will be walking over to the high school for rehearsal during their first two specials.

There will be no men’s choir on Wednesday.

Reminder. Yearbook Team meets Wednesday, November 20th after school in room 15 with Ms. Foster, right after school until 4!

In honor of Computer Science Education week, the High School coding club will offer two Coding workshops designed specifically for 6th-8th girls. Students will work collaboratively to create games using SCRATCH and learn to create their first Python programs. Bay Girls Coding Club will meet Fridays after school on Dec. 6 and 13. Please see the weekly Family News to sign up.
